Welcome to the diary of an ER trauma nurse! I’ve been a nurse for about two years now and I’ve learned a lot in this short career of mine. This journey of mine has had its highs and lows. I know what it’s like to struggle through school, but I also know what it’s like to thrive. I know what it’s like to love my job, but I also know what it’s like to feel burnt out. You will find out how I manage all these situations through my blogs. I am always completely transparent about the things I love and the things I struggle with! My hope is to help inspire others to go after their career all while maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle. With that being said, this will be much more than JUST a nursing blog. As my career has expanded, I’ve learned the importance of having a happy personal life outside of nursing. My life is so much more than just being a nurse! While nursing makes me happy, so does fashion and traveling! These loves of mine are how I manage the “nursing burn-out” feeling that hits ALL nurses at some point. I feel it is important to show that nurses are so much more than a poster board of selfless perfection. I want all my lovely readers to realize that, while it is your nature to GIVE selflessly, you must also take experiences and moments for YOU. Do the things that make your heart smile! So, my blog will include all topics that bring joy to my life! I will be posting my travel experiences and reviewing various fashion boutiques for you all on top of giving you the best nursing advice I can offer.
